Hope and I went around the school asking teachers a question the question was how are cheerleaders presented in movies. If I was to be asked that question I would say they usually have blue eyes and blonde hair and they are portrayed as dumb and full of themselves. We were learning about representation and stereotypes. A representation is how something is presented in this case in the media. Stereotypes are an idea that people have about what someone or something is like. Click this link for a mind map that I made for how cheerleaders are presented in the media. We were also watching advertisements and seeing how men and women were stereotyped in them.

This is my favourite series it is called once upon a time. The genres once upon a time is in are; fantasy, fairy tale, drama, mystery and adventure. It is about fairy tale characters living in the 21st century. It is really interesting and I highly recommend watching it.
